New York City, New York
The tour guide was articulate, knowledgeable, and personable. We were a party of six who much his dialogue and appreciated the "skip the line" feature of going to the Empire State Building's observation deck. Also, the visit to the U.S.S. Intrepid was enjoyable. But ending the tour at the 9/11 Memorial was disastrous. We were left to stand in a slow-moving serpentine line which seemed unending. After an hour of standing in line (on a sweltery day without benefit of a lunch or bathroom break) we gave up and left. I'd recommend omitting the 9/11 stop; it was a bad ending to what would've otherwise been a 5 star tour. Perhaps staying on the boat and getting off near the Brooklyn Bridge would've been a better option.
Enjoyable. We saw some of rural, agricultural Switzerland. And seeing the falls was well worth the trip.
