I've been fortunate to experience the South and West Rim at the Grand Canyon. While both offer amazing views and nature beauty, the N. Rim is breath taking. You arrive by fixed wing at a live working ranch. After ample time to explore the ranch, you have the option of taking a guided ATV tour along the N. Rim. I highly recommend the ATV ride--it was the highlight of the N. Rim experience. The local ranchers serve as your tour guide, stopping at various paths along the road. This tour is educational and full of adventure!
