Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour

This tour was good in the timescale. That said it was a little superficial. We were assured that we were being taken to superior glass and lace works. In fact we taken to the geographically first. My advice is go into see the glass blowing, such wonderful skill, and briefly the lace making then go for a walk outside in the remaining 30 minutes, particularly picturesque Burano. Torcello was a 40 minute visit with 15 to 20 minutes walking to the two churches. As a taster it was good but we could have stayed all day.

This was a quick first look at Venice and served it's purpose. The guides, yes two, we lost the first one (our fault) but with our badges were accepted happily by one of the other guides, were enthusiastic and full of anecdotes.
