Admiral Cheng Ho Singapore Harbour Cruise

My Review: The artwork on the boat itself was interesting. Afternoon tea was good and plentiful. The little island we visited was a paradise and the temple there was colorful and exotic. However, we very much regretted not having a hotel pick up for this tour and we missed not having a guide, especially to explain the temple to us. Seeing all the container ships in the harbour was eye-opening but not especially pretty.

My Review: This is a beautiful place! Our enthusiastic guide made sure we saw a maximum number of these rare and exotic birds. The two shows were fantastic, both entertaining and educational. It would have been nice to have breakfast here with the birds, we noticed that the park offers this possibility.

Singapore Zoo Morning Tour with optional Jungle Breakfast amongst Orangutans

My Review: A terrific tour! The breakfast was top quality and the setting fantastic. The orangutans were awe-inspiring, they were just beautiful! The handlers were informative and insured that we got our photos. We also saw quite a lot of the rest of this wonderful zoo thanks to the efforts of our guide, who like all of these Singapore guides, was so professional, thorough and considerate. This was our favorite tour although all the others in Singapore were great too.

Swan Valley Wine Cruise from Perth

My Review: A wonderful day out. Service on the boat was excellent and the cruise was charming. The wines on board were good enough and they were certainly plentiful. The best wines were at the Sandleford Estate where the presentation was professional and informative. Lunch was tasty and pleasant. One downside was the blaring recorded rock music on the way back, not relaxing and it lowered the tone of the cruise. Ditto for the attempt to make everyone dance the Congo, no one wanted to do this. Bravo however to the crew member who sang for us, she was very good.

My Review: A good day out, we saw a variety of sights in addition to the impressive Wave Rock. Lunch and tea were both excellent. Beautiful scenery everywhere. Our driver ran the tour very well.

Perth Lunch Cruise including Fremantle Sightseeing Tram Tour

My Review: Boat to Fremantle was dumpy. On the return lunch cruise, we were told to sit in the back and then forgotten. By the time we managed to call attention to our plight, the food was dwindling and time running out. The tram tour in Fremantle, however, was terrific!

My Review: A great day out. Our guide was very knowledgeable, cordial and professional. The tour included a great variety of interesting sights and gave us a better understanding of Singapore's history and culture. The lunch was absolutely delicious and was served in a lovely setting by charming people.

Green Island Day Trip from Cairns

My Review: The tour was very well organized. The highlight was the semi-submarine which does indeed give diver-like views of the reef. It was accompanied by excellent commentary. The glass-bottomed boat, while interesting, did not have much useful commentary. The buffet lunch was good value, but the presentation and setting were not terribly agreeable.

My Review: A great day out! The driver guide was superb. There was never a dull moment!! The rainforest walk was great and the rainforest cruise at the end was unusually interesting. Lunch was delicious and served in a charming setting. The Spanish Castle bit could be dispensed with, although the owners were welcoming and the tea very good. We learned a lot on this tour and really had fun.

My Review: We did this tour in the rain and it was still fantastic. The scenic rail ride was loads of fun. The butterfly and bird sanctuaries were the best we have seen anywhere. Skyrail was scary - but we're proud to say we actually did it!

Kuniya Sunset Aboriginal Tour including Uluru Cultural Center

My Review: We were lucky enough to have Mr. Uluru himself as our tour guide. What an adorable, intelligent man! We felt we had made a real contact with the best of the Aboriginal world. This is the only way to visit Uluru! And the Australian champagne at sunset was delicious!

My Review: Informative and enjoyable. We saw a lot in a short period and felt we got a real insight into Singapore and its lovely people. We would have preferred more time at the Botanical Gardens and less at the Gem Center.

My Review: One of the best things we did on our whole trip! Dinner was very good and enabled us to try local dishes. The safari was a unique and enchanting experience. It was virtually like seeing the animals in the wild. The zoo staff were all helpful and charming - like people everywhere in Singapore.
