Masada and the Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv

If your idea of a fun day is 11.5 hours consisting of 2 hours touring Masada, 45 minutes at lunch, 90 minutes at the Dead Sea , in an area that is primitive compared with the sites on the Jordanian side of the Sea, 30 minutes in a Dead Sea cosmetic factory and six hours sitting on or standing by a bus, then this is the trip for you. If not, I suggest you find a much quicker way to get from Tel Aviv to Massada, and spend your time there.

Day Tour to Jerusalem and Bethlehem from Tel Aviv

My Review
The Jerusalem part of the trip was very good. Our guide, Ossi Kaufman, was very good. He kept us together, provided good descriptions of what we saw. and gave us time to see the sights on our own. The trip to Bethlehem was a little disappointing. Lots of time spent getting through the wall and to the Church of the Nativity, which was overcrowded and also under major renovation. The line was so long we did not get to see the cave/grotto where Christ was born. But as I always thought he was born in a manger, I guess it is no great loss!
