Prague Folklore Party Dinner and Entertainment

My Review: This Dinner was so much fun that I will be doing it again when I get back to Prague. The food was top notch, and the entertainment was festive and well done. This did not have that forced, touristy feel that I have gotten with other similar dinners

Danube Valley Day Trip from Vienna

My Review: This was a good trip. The monastery at Melk was the highlight of the day. Are tickets were for the top of the boat, and luckily we were there in September, so the day was sunny but not too hot. I would not like this is July or August, or in the colder months that the boat would sail in

My Review: This was a good service. The pickup spot was very close to the hotel. When he gets out to open water it was quite a lot of fun. The schlep from the dock to the Airport is quite far, but under a protective roof the whole way

My Review: Well to be honest, I think we could have done better on are own instead of in a group. The information given by the guide was not even as good as what was in are guide books we brought from home. I was quite put-off by the drop off at the dock of the glass factory and after the demonstration it was directly into there showroom, with no time to go anywhere else to shop. Torcello was very interesting and the mosaics in the church were spectacular

My Review: This tour was excellent! Are tour guide Becky was very knowledgeable about the places she took us. The highlight was the lunch at the organic farm. The food was excellent. I don't drink but my partner and the folks around us all agreed that the wine was of very good quality. The view of San Gimignano from the farm was beautiful. We were there at the Olive harvest time so the Olive Oil I bought was only a few days old, and incredibly flavorful. The town of San Gimignano is fascinating, and there are great buys on Porcini Mushrooms and Wild Boar products.

My Review: Are tour guide in the morning was very good and informative, the tour guide in the afternoon was a bit long winded when talking about the painting in the Uffizi. I was not there for an Art History course, It was nice that we hit the Uffizi in the afternoon as there were not a lot of people there, and when the tour guide was not talking you had time to look at the exibits close up. The David in the Accademia galleries is breath taking!

Rome Segway Tour

My Review: This was the best excursion that we took on are Italian tour!! The Segway Guide was fun and informative. He took the time to let us get the hang of the Segway, which is very easy to master. It was raining during are time in Rome but even with that the Segway was the most fun we had. I will defiantly book this again if I get back to Rome, and will look for similar tours in any other cities we will visit in the future.

My Review: Excellent. The Sistine Chapel was the highlight of this tour for me. I was looking forward to seeing the Pieta in the Vatican. It is behind Plexiglas for its protection, and you are about 30 feet from the statue so you cant get a really good look it.

My Review: This was a beautifully laid out museum and the exhibits were lovely. The Audio guide was very helpful as most of the signs were in Italian. The parkland around the Museum is just great with lovely vistas. We were there in the Fall so it must be even more beautiful and serene in the spring and summer.
