This was much better than a self guided tour of this desert area. It's amazing how much is there that we would never have found without our guide. He was the main hunter for the community for years, and had trophies to prove it from the aboriginal games.

Leaving the bus, hearing the didgeridoo playing, and being handed a glass of champagne as we walked up to the site to see Uluru rising from the sand was wonderful, and it just kept getting better. It was a perfect evening.

This was one of the best tours we have ever taken. The guide was very "tuned in" to what we wanted to do, but also interjected wonderful facts and took us to places that we may not have chosen on our own. We were impressed enough to make sure our guide was with us the next day for the car tour.

We enjoyed what we saw, and the guide was wonderful. But, you should know that the track near Ferrari is closed for repairs and has been for some time. The other tracks are half a day's ride away. Also, Maserati has no museum and the factory is closed to the public. The guide was wonderful, very knowledgeable and gracious, she was able to give us other choices to fill in the gaps. So what could have been a problem was not, due to her abilities.
