My Review: This trip is NOT advised from Phuket. To the venue, travel time 3 1/2 hours, likewise for the return. Actual time canoe/elephant = 2 hours !!
Lunch not brilliant. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

My Review: The climb to the canopy could be too strenuous for some. However, the reward is a unique stroll through tree tops which for most would be a first.

My Review: The "high tea" at Raffles transpired to be an excellent buffet with first class service whilst dining. The other aspects included with the tour made for a pleasant half day.

Mae Kam Pong Village Day Tour from Chiang Mai

My Review: Pick up from hotel on time. Driver OK and courier very polite and helpful with reasonably good English. The visit to the market to buy ingredients for cooking later was interesting, and likewise actual cooking of the meal - with assistance! The walk through the hills and forest was very rewarding mainly due to our personal interest in wildlife. The 2nd guide for this part of the trip was very knowledgeable pointing out a number of plants and trees of interest. The number and colours of the butterflies, wonderful. The quality of the food provided for the picnic was quite simply OUTSTANDING as was the location by the waterfall. A thoroughly enjoyable day which we may even repeat if we return to that area of Thailand.
