Took the half a day tour. I loved Versailles. My husband had enough after 4 hours. It's a matter of taste, we didn't have time to see the gardens, you need the whole day for that. Castle was under some facade renovations. You can take pictures inside. The independent tour is perfect for going at your own pace and appreciating all the paintings, I especially loved the artwork on those high ceilings. Being July 2008 it was VERY crowded, lots of background noise on the camera. Even with all of that I would certainly go back to Versailles. As for organisation, very well organised, I would definitely use Viator again.
