An excellent trip. We were picked up from Cannes and driven to pick up others in Nice. Then onto Monaco for dinner in a nice restaurant just off Casino Square. The meal was excellent and we also had about 90 mins at our leisure in Monaco following the meal. Just about enough time for the main central area - but if you want shopping or the palace its better to go on one of the day trips (we did both!). The guide, Sylvia, spoke good English and was excellent throughout.

We were picked up by Manuel who spoke excellent English and was a font of knowledge throughout - an excellent guide. We drove to a perfumne factory and then on through some medeaevil vaillages. Absolutely spectacular locations. We had lunch at Gourdon where we had an excellent meal perched high on a cliff with an amazing view. Manual also took us to see an amazing waterfall. The boat ride itself was OK. I couldn't quite see what the interest was regarding the coastline - we have far better than this in England. This was not helped as the commentary provided was all in French - there was no translation into English or any other language. I have a feeling it was a sort of home of the stars tour but the lack of translation meant that this was a bit lost on us. It is also more of a ferry type arrangement so its not the sort of trip for sun bathing or getting a tan - its also a non stop steam so there are no stop offs or swimming opportunities. Therefore, if you want just a boat trip its fine - but don't expect to see anything of interest (unless you are very good at French). Rather disappointed with this one.

We were taken on this tour by Michael, a genram working in France. He was a good guide and explained everything in English very well. We started in Antibes where the market was fascinating and also had a look at the obscene wealth on display in the harbour. We visited the medaevil town of Eze which is superb. We then went on to Monaco where we had some free time. We also drove round part of the formula 1 circuit (but unformtunatley on the day one of the roads was closed). Very good tour and very enjoyable.

Easy, efficient and worth the money after the flight. Our driver was Rene who spoke good english and gave us some pointers as to things we might do during our stay. It is possible to get to Cannes via buses and trains for a lot less cost, but its fiddly and not something I would advise for arrival (although we did do that on the way back). I am however told that some parts of Nice are not too secure so you would be well advised to use this service if you are departing or arriving at night.
