This is great tour for people who are unable or do not like to walk very far. We ended up walking between several of the sites, rather than waiting for the bus to return at the scheduled time. If you like to walk, it may be a better idea to get a good map and explore the city on your own. The one thing the bus does offer is headphones to listen to a prerecorded guide speaking (in one of several available languages) about different sites as you drive through the city. A good feature for those interested in historical information.

What an amazing location. Poseidon's Temple is a definite must-see for anyone visiting Greece; however, this tour is not a great option. The drive up to Cape Sounion is gorgeous, but there are no stops along the way which we would have enjoyed. Also, it would have been nicer if the tour guide did not speak. She seemed to struggle with every third word (or so) so sentences were choppy and often indiscernible. Her voice blared through the bus' speakers during the entire drive, making what would have been a nice drive, quite irritating.
The tour at the temple site was equally as aggravating. We were given a very short amount of time to explore on our own, but not enough time to grab a quick bite at the small restaurant just down the hill from the temple.
The drive back left just before the sun set, ensuring that we were able to see sunset from behind glass window panes, rather than atop the cliff overlooking Cape Sounion.
My suggestion - Definitely go to Poseidon's Temple, but it is better to rent a car.

After reading several negative reviews on this cruise, we were skeptical, but we could not be happier that we took this cruise. It was a perfect day of relaxation, shopping, eating and exploring on three of Greece's beautiful islands.
Much of the time was spent on the ship, but we did not mind as we were able to relax in three dining room areas (one on the roof), shop in the small stores and enjoy the sun and amazing views.
The boat was in decent condition. The crew was pleasant, helpful and spoke several languages. The lunch (though reviewed poorly by previous Viator travelers) was surprisingly good. We did have to pay for all beverages on the boat. We found that bottled water and sodas are less expensive at the shops on the islands, so we carried drinks with us onto the boat.
The islands were amazing and made the trip worthwhile. Hydra looked like a town out of a story book and was filled with friendly feral dogs and cats begging to be pet and fed. Donkey rides around the town were given by locals. Poros required only a short visit, as there was less to see. Aegina was another fun little town and the ship offers the option of one of two tours on the island. The tours visit ruins, a monastery and pistachio factory for an additional $20 or $25 Euro (depending upon which tour you choose.) We didn't feel like riding a bus for 45 minutes, so we chose to walk around the town, which was a bit more modern than Hydra, but beautiful nonetheless.
On the way back to port in Pireaus, the sunset over the water was beautiful. Definitely a trip worth taking!

Going into the pyramid was neat, but it would have been better to catch a cab from our hotel to Giza and walk around by ourselves. The tour guide rattled off information like she memorized an encyclopedia, wanted strict time limits when we went off on our own and appeared genuinely irritated when we wanted to stop in at the KFC by the Sphynx.

The Valley of the Kings was interesting, but not as "big" as we expected. The tombs were rather small and very stuffy. Tutankhamen's tomb is not really worth the extra charge. It was more interesting to see everything excavated from the tomb at the Cairo Museum. Hatshepsut's Temple was neat and had a beautiful view of the Nile. Our tour guide was very irritable and made us feel very rushed. When my husband decided to try and negotiate a deal for some souvenirs, she seemed almost angry that she had to wait. I would definitely go see the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut's Temple, but it is better to see it without the guide.

The whole tour was incredible! Our tour guide, Ahmed was great. He and my husband hit it off immediately. Within 30 minutes they were joking and laughing ... and it didn't stop the entire way! He was very knowledgeable and even accompanied us up the mountain. He helped with the negotiation with the Bedoiuns for our camels. Our Bedouin guide, Mohammed was excellent as well. He was very quiet at first, but as he loosened up, he was joking around with the other guys too! I was really impressed with how many languages he spoke! This was by far, the best part of our trip to Egypt!

Definitely worth the money - especially if you are arriving for the first time. Our tour guide, Ahmed, met us at the gate and introduced us to the driver. He got us checked into the hotel 5 hours early and kept in touch with us during our entire trip!
