Singapore Round-Island Tour with Changi Prison, Kranji War Memorial and Gardens by the Bay

Singapore, Singapore

My Rating
4 star rating: Recommended

My Review
The visit in the 10 courts of hell is sure an eye opener even though it requires mystical beleif. The trip also takes in the flanks used by the military during the war and for those Australians and British who want to remember the fallen, here is your chance at Jahore Battery. The trip also visits the last remains of Changi Prison (and the Alter) whilst encompassing the new facility. The Museum at Changi shares the trials that those men who were POWs went through. Sad but part of history I guess. The trip then visits a Buddhist temple which is different. A very good tour for the older generation and maybe something for the younger also.

Malaysia Johore Bahru Half-Day Tour from Singapore

Singapore, Singapore

My Rating

My Review
This tour is actually a learning curve in many ways. You travel to JB via the checkpoints to and from each country. You notice a difference instantly when you leave Singapore (clean) and arrive in Malaysia (rubbish everywhere). Your first stop is to visit a clothing factory that makes Batiks. Its very interesting although hot as. You have th chance to buy the real deal if you wish. Your second visit is to the Sultans Palace. Its a Muslim temple and on the day we were there, there was a few Muslims praying at the Mosque. Very traditional building and lots of architectural history to it. The final visit sees you visit a farm that pretty much about what Malays eat. Excellent references to this visit. And at the end of the farm visit, you can try real Cocoa that gives off chocolate. The fruit tea is also nice. The tour ends once you return to Singapore security check point and go back to your hotel. Its generally about history but would apply to all ages I think

Singapore Zoo Morning Tour with optional Jungle Breakfast amongst Orangutans

Singapore, Singapore

My Rating
3 star rating: Worth doing

My Review
Ok, this trip is basically a visit to the Zoo and also allows visitors who want breakfast with Orangutans. You cant touch them, but you can have photos with them. The breakfast is very basic but enjoyable. The Zoo is like any other zoo, with feeding times that you can participate in if you wish at a fee. Its a good zoo overall
