A love of travel and photography has taken me many places. When my husband and I travel, we take a little gnome with us and from time to time, he pops up in our photo's. He's not always there but sometimes, if you look closely, a little gnome with a little red hat is hanging out with us!

Hot Air Balloon Flight over Catalonia

Barcelona, Spain

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
Fantastic! Nicolas and Thomas were wonderful. Nicolas is an accomplished balloon pilot having recently placed 4th a world-wide competition and further proven by his gentle take-off and landing and obvious skill handling the balloon. I do not enjoy great heights but felt completely at ease on this and the views were spectacular. Great photo opportunities, the brunch was a lot of fun and the pick-up and drop-off were perfect. I cannot wait until my next opportunity to go ballooning again!

Seville Night Tour with Tablao Flamenco Show

Seville, Spain

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
The Flamenco Show here in Seville was really very good! We enjoyed the music and the dancing and the culture of it all very much. I would definitely suggest splurging on the full dinner plan - the seating for the diners was much better and the food looked very good as it came out! We didn't have an opportunity to order anything as it's a pre-made dinner, so they only make enough for those who have bought tickets for it. Overall, very happy with this show and would recommend it to friends and family.

Skip the Line: Alhambra and Generalife Gardens Half-Day Tour

Granada, Spain

My Rating
3 star rating: Worth doing

My Review
I would have given this another star except for the fact that I wanted to take pictures and this tour didn't allow time to do that. Granted, I took over 100 photo's while there but felt rushed and didn't get all the shots I wanted. If you're serious about photography or just want to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, take the longer tour or just go on your own. It is very close to the city with regular buses going to and from. Also - for people needing to use wheelchairs or walkers, or have a tough time with stairs and uneven ground, don't take this tour. It is possible, though not easy to do but will take much longer to navigate the hills, steps and slopes than the tour will give you time for. I 100% recommend seeing the Alhambra and Generalife, in fact, if ever in Spain again, will plan to spend a whole day there next time! It is an amazing thing to see truly.
