This was a very good tour. Garry was a wonderful tour guide and very well informed. At the Palace we were handed over to a local guide who was also very good. We were able to view the Opera Theatre and the Chapel which are not always open to viewing which was wonderful.
Sadly there are still several gardens closed to renovation/ remodelling, however the overall impression is wonderful. Be prepared to do lots of walking if you enjoy viewing all the amazing garden designs or if you want to just relax walk down to the restaurants at lakes and sit an enjoy the ambience.
This was quite a good tour. As it was pretty cold in Paris that evening it was a case of getting warmly dressed and keeping dry. Everyone has to meet at the tour operators premises and grab a sticker. It seemed a little confusing at times. Our time for the Moulin Rouge was 9pm so we had cruise first, then the dinner and finally the show. The dinner was nice but a bit rushed. Really enjoyed the cruise and the show was wonderful. Overall a good evening.
Loved Monet's garden and Giverny tour. My husband described Monet's garden as a cottage garden "on steroids". So much colour and diversity. The weather in Giverny was sunny and warm, and the garden not too crowded with tourists. Good time to visit.
