Gordon River Cruise from Strahan

My Review: This trip was stunning. I guess it helped that the day was sunny in the midst of rainy days. Our tour guide was excellent and passionate about the World Heritage forest. She made the trip very interesting with her knowledge and humour. It was magical to glide along the Gordon River on the top outside deck of the "Lady Jane Franklin". The weather was calm and warm which added to the amazing ambiance. The short excursions off the boat were good and broke up the day. This is when we saw the forest up close. Food was good with plenty for everyone. The local salmon was beautiful. You could buy drinks. We bought the Atrium tickets (the cheapest) and had good seats. As you can move virtually all over the ship the dearer seats were not necessary. All in all a great cruise well worth doing.

Lido de Paris Dinner and Show

My Review: This was a fun night. The effects were amazing and quite spectacular. It wasn't precision dancing as the costumes were large and the dancers had to sweep across the stage most times. The supporting acts were fantastic. A nice night with a shared bottle of bubbly. Well worth it.

Assisi and Orvieto Day Trip from Rome

My Review: This tour is a lovely day in the countryside travelling through Umbria and Tuscany regions. Picked up from hotel and taken to Termini to connect with coach. Tour guide was very friendly and helpful. The coach was comfortable as it wasn't filled to capacity. We stopped as Orvieto and Assisi for sightseeing. We also stopped for lunch at a farmlet which had a shop and cafe. The lunch was three courses and bread. We bought our own drinks. In the shop we sampled local goods for purchase. The farmlet was beautiful and staff very friendly, also catering for vegetarians. If you want to get out of Rome for the day this trip is well worth it.

Paris Shuttle Departure Transfer: Orly Airport (ORY)

My Review: Paris Shuttle was very efficient and a great way to go to the airport. As suggested by the company, be outside hotel 10 minutes early. Driver came at that time and we were on our way. For early morning flights takes the hassle out of changing trains. Excellent value.

Paris Pass

My Review: This pass was good as I had taken the added transport. I liked that included was the two day bus tour even though I only used it on one day. (unlike the London Pass which does not include the tour bus). Also what is good is that many venues are open late and if you are there in Summer when the days are long you get more value.

Private Ho Chi Minh City Arrival Transfer: Airport to Hotel

My Review: The private transfer from Ho Chi Minh City airport to my hotel was excellent. We were met by a very friendly lady holding a placard with our name. She phoned the driver of our vehicle and he was there in an instant. Our car was a beautiful black Mercedes and the driver was very polite and helpful. I would book this transfer again as it is so convenient and luxurious and value for money.
