Excellent tour, packed with information and a a clearly passionate guide. Really brought it all alive. Would have liked a little time to walk around the Colosseum after tour guide had finished explanations, instead of rushing on to the Roman Forum. Felt there was no time to just stand back and take it in and take a few photos. Was a little rushed towards the end, however, at no fault of the guide as a few were very late in arriving so we were late starting. Perhaps extending the length of the tour would be appropriate as there was so much information that it was impossible to do it all justice in such a short space of time. However, we were on a morning tour meaning the guide was rushing on to an afternoon tour so couldn't extend it. But otherwise, the tour and guide were exceptional.

An absolutely fabulous tour! Our tour guide, Vinnie, clearly knew his stuff and had a real passion for the sculptures and paintings and a sense of humour that made it all memorable. The ear pieces are excellent, as they prevent worry at losing the group in the crowds or missing anything. The short break for refreshments and toilets before going into the Sistine Chapel was much appreciated after 2 hours of walking and standing. The tour was immediately worth every penny when we walked past the queuing crowds and straight through Vatican security to begin the tour within 10 minutes. Our tour ended outside St. Peter's Bascillica, leaving us to browse in our own time. As we had a travel guide with us, we were able to show ourselves around, but perhaps having the tour guide take a few minutes in there to point out the main sights would have been good, but in no way did it detract from our overall rating of the tour. An absolutely fabulous tour that we would definately recommend to others. Our tour guide Vinnie, definately made the whole experience memorable. Thanks Vinnie!
