This is definitely not good value for money. There is confusion at arrival, and nothing much to do before the show except spend money. The show itself is badly choreographed and the comedian scene appallingly bad.

The transfer was efficiently done and a welcome escape from the touts at the airport. Documents supplied were misleading, however, as they told us we would need 700baht each at departure, whereas this had already been paid with our ticket.

Georgetown Heritage Tour from Penang

Our guide almost completely ignored the fact that this had once been a British colony, that there are superb examples of Georgian and Victorian architecture in Georgetown. We went to two Buddhist temples, a restored Chinese mansion and the Khoo clan house and that was it!

This was the best tour we did in 10 days in Asia. The experiences provided were varied and stimulating, and the guide very informative.
