My Review: Not really a walking tour but more of a race at times. The guide knew what she was talking about but totally focussed on Michaelangelo and ran literally through the rooms with the more modern art. It was worth doing though.

My Review: This was absolutely brilliant. The guide was so good at story telling and made it all seem real and alive. He just made the tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it. His way of leading the tour, keeping people together and his knowledge of his subject is second to none.

Naples and Pompeii Day Trip from Rome

My Review: The guide coughed and sniffed her way down to Naples, then on to Pompeii. I couldn't see the point in the stop at Naples apart from dropping off people who were going to Capri. The cameo and coral factory was also a waste of time as the same things were on sale in Pompeii on street stalls for a quarter of the price. Pompeii was really good, although the tour of the ancient site was not really long enough. Then it was back on the bus to more coughing and sneezing from the tour guide and a long, bumpy road back to Rome, via Naples. The tour guide got off the bus before we did we had hotel pick up and drop off arranged and the driver collected a young lady then dumped us in Rome claiming not to know where our hotel was. Luckily we did.

My Review: Really interesting, but a bit rushed at times when walking between the places. We got left behind and really had to hurry to catch up. Not enough time to take photographs everywhere. The guide really knew her subject, though, and made it interesting.
