This is a certain eye opener. From the moment we boarded the coach to the moment we were dropped off, we were amused, entertained, educated and enthralled at the sights we witnessed. Great value for money and a MUST whilst in Rome. The only regret we had was we did not include St. Peters due to time, but hey ho we will just have to go back.

Had mixed views when we read the reviews before we booked this trip. However we had a great day. Yes it is a long day, yes you do only get two hours or so to look at the ruins, but it is well worth it. Not sure how interesting it is for kids being such a long day, but the views of Vesuvius and the extremely knowledgeable guide made for a very good trip.

Food was as always in Hard Rock Cafe, great. We had a problem on the Monday as we were late back from Pompeii and they allowed us to transfer the booking to Tuesday which was extremely helpful to us.

The stories where a bit lame, more folklore than scary, and I like scary. However, it was interesting and a bit of a giggle. If nothing else, the guide historian was passionate about his stuff and kept you engaged.

Venice Gondola Ride and Serenade

My wife and I booked this for her fortieth birthday, and enjoyed it extremely. Yes, you do share a gondola with others, which potentially takes away some of the romance, but this was compensated with the fun we had. The serenade was very professional and also helped with the atmosphere in the gondola.
