It's a shame the school is not in a better location and closer to the actual Colosseum. Getting there is an adventure in itself we took a taxi from the Colosseum and were over charged to get there. It is not 10 euro as your website indicates. It is more like 20 - 25 depending on your taxi driver. Once at the school we were greeted by the instructor Peter who was very friendly and great with the boy's. My two boys were the only one's in the class and while the person attention was nice I did not feel safe while watching the class with my younger daughter. (because of the location not the personnel). Peter did arrange for a taxi to take us back to the Colessum and the ride back was much better.
The Time Elevator is a great movie to see to get the kids excited about the history of Rome. I took my 3 children ranging in ages from 9 - 14 and they really learned a lot. It really helped them understand what they were about to see over the next few day's while in Rome. I would definitely recommend this movie.
