This trip is worth every penny. Our guide (young man, who was born in Odessa, Ukraine and brought to Nice at age of 4) was excellent -- on the way to and back he didn't close his mouth :), he pointed every corner, every village, every tunnel, every house, road, bld, etc. He knew a lot about history of this region! He gave plenty of time in Eze village, in Monte Carlo. He was on time for guard change ceremony, provided all of us with maps and even umbrellas :) Highly recommend. Btw, this agency picks you up even if you stay in apt, not hotel! We had a trip on May 31, and it was only 4 of us and the guide. Very nice minivan as well.
This tour is the only method to reach St. Tropez without headache of traffic jam (if you stay in Nice). Our guide was nice, but he didn't bother to tell stories/interesting moments on history or art of region at all. He brought us back to Nice around 4:30pm (much earlier than our guide of Monaco trour). So, we looked at him as just a driver, but not the guide. He gave us only 3 hours in St. Tropez and left us there immediately. It was 6 of us. A nice surprise was a speed boat ride from Ste. Maxim to the port of St. Tropez (instead of a long backroads way). Our tour was on Tuesday, when it's a market, so it was a huge crowd everywhere. Port Grimaud is a tiny hand-made village. We had an hour there, bought (5.50 euro/each) 20-min boat ride through all the canals. We'd prefer more time in St. Tropez with a guide walk around old town and citadel and cathderal. We are dissappointed by the guide and overall, but understand that we could not do it on our own without renting a car. If you can spend 300$+, do it. St. Tropez is spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing perfomance for (unexpected!!!!!) 3.5 hours!!! Service (of dinner) was good, the dinner tself was so-so. but manageble. Singers and main man dancer were outstanding. Very different wth Barcelona's Flamenco show, so we truly enjoyed and cpmpared both of them. Highly recommend to everybody. For us it was a "grand-final" of our 10 days Spanish trip.
Interesting, unbelievable moments, spectacular views of "country side" outside of Figueres and Costa Brava. Our Guide Vanja was a nice young woman, but very weak guide, she didn't do any real guide, all of us who were in same minivan called her our "driver", and she was just a driver--it seemed that all of us knew more about our journey that our guide. She didn't give us enough time to explore Theater-Museum Dali either. Is this itinerary worth? Yes, from the point of an opportunity to see Theather-Museum and especially country sidea nd Dali's home. Please, be ready, that the price for this trip doesn't include tickets to both Dali's Museum and House!!! We had to pay additional 11 euro/person and 10 euro/person. So it turned into an expensive trip.
