The Hop On - Hop Off bus was fine, but here's the negative...
When we reaced the boarding area, we discovered a competitor had rates for the exact same tour at a significantly lower price!

New Orleans Cooking Class
New Orleans, Louisiana

EXCELLENT! This is a cooking demonstration , not "hands on." Nevertheless, it was a lot of fun as well as informative. An added plus is that you get to taste the food and, in essence, it is an almost complete lunch. Add to this iced tea and beer (included in the price) and you have an afternoon well spent!

A great way to see a good part of New Orleans for the first time. The narration on the boat is excellent and it is a relaxing way to spend a couple of hours. Weel worth the cost!

Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
Florence, Italy
My Rating

This full day tour was top notch! It was a great way to see three cities in one day. One of the highlights was the lunch served at a beautiful estate in Tuscany's wine country. The food and wine made for a nice interlude in an otherwise busy day.
After seeing pictures of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, it was awe inspiring to visit the actual site. It was still a surprise to actually see how much the tower leaned.
The tour itselfwas very well planned and the guide wasexcellent. This tour was one of the best I have ever taken and I would highly recommend it to anyone desiring to visit this beautiful area of Italy.

Florence City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
Florence, Italy
My Rating

The Hop-on Hop-off bus was a good value and made it easy to get a sense of the city. There were two routes covering different areas. The only problem was that the schedule was more hit or miss due to traffic problems in the city. In general, the HOHO Tours are a good value and this was the case in Florence.
