2-Day Tour to Meteora from Athens

My Review: We loved the trip to Meteora, our guide Irini was the best guide I have ever had. She was proud of Greece and it's treasures and described them with poet's phrases. She directed us to the most delicious home cooked meal I had in Greece. The hotel was quiet, first class and was built in the style of a monastery. Perfect !

My Review: Good overview of the riches Athens has to offer a tourist. The complimentary headsets were easy to use and the English translation was perfect.

3-Day Italy Trip: Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri

My Review: Pompeii was so large an area, I was really impressed. It would be better to also go to the Naples museum where many of the Pompeii treasures are now residing, but alas not enough time. I liked Sorrento...a real town with real people. The Isle of Capri was too crowded and touristy, designed mainly to capture the tourist dollar ! Although it was a beautiful day, the Blue Grotto was closed (open only 30% of the time).

My Review: This tour needs to be longer in length. Next time I would plan a whole day to come back to visit the museum only. I think that in the height of the season, skipping the line is VERY important.
