The Sydney Opera House shocked me as being extremely impressive.
The point is not the funny looking roofs, but the the inside where somebdy moved a chair,
and I could hear it loud and claer from two miles up or so. There are no pillars and it is a huge building.
The architect had a clear idea what he wanted to accomplish. Too bad politecs stopped his vision.
He had the right idea. Yes ok instead of one million it took 100 million or so. I do not remember the details.
Australia has an icon that will generate millions of dollars, and a center for very impressive art for years to come.
