Giant's Causeway Day Trip from Dublin

Dublin, Ireland

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

My husband and I cannot rave more about this amazing trip. Our guide was an absolute treasure -- and stayed that way throughout this very long excursion! Always informative and fun, he made sure we knew where we were going and what we would see (all of this provided in between songs and funny stories). We were given a fair amount of time at both the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge (a MUST), at the Causeway, and in Belfast. Although the weather was unusually perfect for us, it was very windy and cold (so make sure you are bundled up). I have no complaints and would highly recommend this tour to everyone. Totally worth every penny!

Kilkenny City and Glendalough Day Trip from Dublin

Dublin, Ireland

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

Wonderful tour. We had a fantastic guide who was very informative. The only gripe I have is the time frame allotted. Once we reached Kilkenny, we had the option of exploring the city or going to the Dunmore Caves. I wanted to do both, which is doable, but leaves very little time for anything else. We were able to explore the caves (very cold and wet, so be prepared), get a quick lunch, and run through Kilkenny Castle (admission is not included) before leaving. The time in Glendalough was adequate; my husband and I were able to walk to both lakes and a few other very picturesque places before heading back to Dublin. Although rushed, it was definitely worth doing.

We had such a wonderful tour! Our guide was VERY knowledgeable and always made sure we were happy. It was worth every penny to skip the line outside, as that was VERY long. Great experience!

Dolomite Mountains Small Group Day Trip from Venice

Venice, Italy

My Review

I can't even put into words how wonderful this tour was. We had a small group of about 6 people. Our driver was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Each stop was more breathtaking than the one before. We stopped near the highest peak to have lunch and the view from the restaurant (which had great food at reasonable prices) was quite grandiose. Such an enjoyable trip!

Venice Walking Tour and Gondola Ride

Venice, Italy

My Rating
4 star rating: Recommended

My Review

The walking tour was nice, just keep in mind you aren't going to go see the major landmarks of Venice. Still, we were able to learn little tidbits of information about Venetian life that we really enjoyed (and find ourselves talking about in regular conversations). The gondola ride was fantastic!

Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Small Group Tour from Munich

Munich, Germany

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

Our guide, Brian, was absolutely superb. He was quite the historian and explained information about the camp in such a passionate manner that you left feeling like you received one of the most in-depth history lessons ever. Although this is a very solemn tour and there's nothing joyful about it, I would recommend it to anyone.

Neuschwanstein Castle Small Group Day Tour from Munich

My Review

We traveled her with Ian, our tour guide, who did a wonderful job. Keep in mind, when they say the walk to the castle is steep, they mean it. It is VERY steep (I'm 28 and it pretty good shape, and it was tough). We also got caught in a storm as we walked up, so be sure to have umbrellas around as I understand it rains frequently there. Rain or not, we had a spectacular time, took great photos, learned a great deal, and will cherish it always.
