Discover Potsdam Walking Tour

My Review: The tour guide David was excellent, and very knowledgeable, well credentialed. Also he took us back to where the tour started, and helped us navigate home, which is an added bonus - not many of the guides are so courteous!
However, there is an awful lot of walking as so much ground to cover. People should be prepared to walk quite quickly for several hours.

Versailles and Giverny Day Trip

My Review: Mixed feelings about this trip. The tour guides were French which is a plus with me, and the bus was modern and comfortable. The visit to Giverny and Monet's garden was fantastic. Then we had lunch at a gorgeous little country restaurant in a watermill at Forges - this was outstanding. After lunch, the time at Versailles was a nightmare - packed to the rafters and being constantly jostled, pickpockets rampant, can't always see or hear your guide. Also 1.5 to 2 hours in those crowded conditions cannot do the palace justice. Would probably be better to do at least half a day there, but go first thing in the morning or as a standalone trip.

My Review: the tour guide was very knowledgeable and professional. However he was American. For a tour of Dachau I think it should have been a German local guide.

Salzburg Small Group Day Tour from Munich

My Review: Once again an American guide, He was quite good but not a local. This tour would be better done by bus rather than having to make all the connections. With all the track work the guide did well to get us home.
