Lakes Region
Travel Recommendation

My Recommendation Tip:
The lakes region is one of the most beautiful places we visited on our trip to Europe. St. Gilgen is a popular town where you can catch the boat that will take you to St. Wolfgang and the village of Strobl - you can take the boat across the lake. At one of the stops there is a train that takes you to the top of the mountain. The views are breathtaking. The boat trip was exceptional. Make sure you get the boat schedule before you leave St. Gilgen so you know what time the boat will pick you up. It is a limited schedule, so you must be aware of the time you have to spend there. If you Google: Photos of Salzkammergut- Lake District near Salzburg, you will see the most beautiful photos of this area. Enjoy!

Nice Airport Private Arrival Transfer to Cannes or Monaco

My Review: The driver in Nice was excellent. He was at the airport when we request, he was an excellent driver, as we felt comfortable with his experience. Would definitely recommend the Nice transfer to Monaco.

Munich Oktoberfest Tickets and Tour

My Review: We really enjoyed Oktoberfest. It is a fun thing to do in Germany. The tour guide had lots of helpful information about the 'history' and it was very interesting. Viator 'tours' are 2nd to none.

My Review: One of our favorites as we traveled through Europe. The Sound of Music is not to be missed. If you are looking to have a fun time, this is exceptional. The Salt Mine Day trip was also excelllent. This is a 5 star tour! Don't miss it.

Danube Valley Day Trip from Vienna

My Review: Another 5 star tour with Viator. This trip is not to be missed. The Abbey was absolutely gorgeous. If we would not have scheduled this tour, we would have missed out. If you are considering this tour, just do it - it's not to be missed.

Schonbrunn Palace Evening: Palace Tour, Dinner and Concert

My Review: This is an excellent tour - there was construction at the entrance of the Schonbrunn Palace, so a bit difficult to find where to go to pick up our tickets. No fault of Viator - the place is absolutely worth seeing. Don't miss this - it's absolutely beautiful.

Paris Shuttle Arrival Transfer: Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)

My Review: Viator is 2nd to none. Their tours were the best of the best. The transfer was a problem. We paid in advance for our transfer. We were told the transfer company was picking us up at 5:45am. When we went down to the lobby to meet the driver, we were told he came at 4:45 am and left. The driver told the receptionist he would come back at 5:45 am - he showed up at 6:15 am and told us we were not on his list to take us back to the airport. The receptionist was speaking very sternly to the driver in French, and he then agreed to take us. It was quite stressful to say the least. There was room in his van for us, so we could not figure out what the problem was in the 1st place. The couple we were traveling with had no problem - they were on their list to be picked up. I loved all the tours, but the transfers are another story.

Bateaux Parisiens Dinner Cruise on the Seine

My Review: One of our favorites! This tour should not be missed. Seeing the "City of Lights" - at night, from the boat was exceptional. I would schedule this tour again if we went back to Paris - it is that awesome!
