We loved our personal guided small group trip to Versailles. We were picked up at our hotel and our driver stayed with us all day guiding us around the grounds of Versailles. Lunch was included with this pkg and was very good. We were also picked up after lunch in the van by our guide so we did not have to walk the second half of the day out to the smaller houses.

We went during the winter so the fountains were not running which was a disappointment to some but I preferred the cool weather and NO CROWDS blessing over the fountains. The property is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the second half of the day viewing the small houses over the palace - if you had to choose. But I am very happy we did the whole day and not only half a day because neither of the halves should be missed. Highly recommend taking this relaxing day trip out of Paris.

This tour was horrible! The tour I purchased was for the Eiffel Tower. We did not even get to go to the Eiffel Tower. We were put on a hop on off tour bus and made sit and wait at every stop for other people to get on and off but not us, we just wasted time until our stop finally came. It was not a private escorted tour like it advertised. The coach that picked us up at the train station was 30 min late, we had to stand on the side of the road waiting and wasting time. I do not recommend this tour. Purchase your own tickets Eiffel Tower tkts online and a hop on off tour on your own. This was the worst tour I've ever taken.

This was a good tour. Everything went smoothly. Edinburgh is a nice town to see. However, one day is not enough. The train ride is long and does not leave enough time to even see Edinburgh and certainly not anything else. I recommend staying the night. This tour only allows a few hours to squeeze everything in and it's not possible.
