The tour seemed rushed. With the walks closed between towns our guide spent his time rushing us onto transport to get to the next location. The towns themselves are initially interesting to look at but are really quite bare. Bathroom facilities are archaic or non-existent.

Skip the line in this case was a misnomer. We waited in line for 25 minutes. But, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and keenly and expertly walked us through art history using several masterpeices at the Uffizi. We appreciate art more now because of it.

The meal on board ship was awful. The whole cruise was like running a marathon. Get on the ship, hurry and quickly see the sights, get on the ship. Watched 3 other ferries from the same line pass us into port. Slow, slower, slowest.

Worse lunch we ever had. Greek cuisine offered was extremely difficult to stomach. Ruins were interesting and guide was informative, but the guide had a tendency to ramble on and on. Some people within the group felt as though deadlines were for other bus passengers and not for them; waited constantly for same stragglers.

The catacombs portion of the tour was excellent, unfortunately the tour guide for the remaining portion of the tour (Appian Way and Aqueducts) we found uninformative. More knowledge and more facts interlaced with drawings of what the monuments may have looked like would have definitely enhanced the experience.

Wonderful the tour guides were charming, patient and engaging. I would recommend it to any one. Our guide for Pompeii was informative and enthusiastic and took us all on a journey through time. I can't rate this tour highly enough.

Incredible tour. The weather was unkind during portions of the tour, which was its only drawback. Our guide was incredible, she was warm, enthusiastic, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable and witty. Don't lose that lady. She 'set the stage' and carried us through a journey of ancient Rome. Bravo!
