Montserrat Royal Basilica Half-Day Trip from Barcelona

My Review:

Stunning views on the cog wheel train ride up the mountain. The black madonna was stunning. The children's choir was impressive. My only complaint is that the people at Montserrat don't communicate well with visitors. For whatever reason, they didn't open the doors to view the madonna until an hour after the posted schedule. We wasted an hour in line, and barely had time to see it. For that reason. the trip ended on a very hurried note.

Tapas Evening Walking Tour of Barcelona

My Review:

This tour offered an enjoyable stroll through the town during the evening. There was a bit too much overlap of the sites seen with the Classic Barcelona tour which we also took. Still, it was nice to see the city at night and we learned a few new things from guide that we'd not learned during the morning tour. The tapas were excellent. The tour included only two tapas restaurants--both very fine. I'd expected less walking and more restaurant options and history related to tapas within various cultures. That would be my suggestion for improvement.
