Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam Day Trip from Las Vegas with Optional Skywalk

My Review: Our trip started out great. The shuttle bus that picked us up at the hotel was already there when we showed up 10 minutes before our pickup time. The bus driver was very pleasant and informative. Once at the bus depot, they kept everyone orderly, and processed the extra fee ($20/couple) rapidly. They even provided a continental breakfast which we didn't expect. Going to the Canyon our bus broke down and we stood on the side of the road for 45 min., but eventually the bus started again. The bus that was provided to go on the "bumpy" dirt road into the Canyon (about a 40 mile trip) stalled and rolled to a stop 5 times total, but started right up again. Once at the Grand Canyon the trip was great - good lunch, and shuttles came often to pick up folks to go to another scenic point (3 in all). Once back on the bus to get to Vegas, our bus broke down again, this time for good. We waited about 1 1/2 hours for a replacement in the 100 deg. heat on the side of the road. The bus company said we couldn't stop at Hoover Dam, but we did view it on our way home. Everything was great except for the broken buses which delayed our return time 3 1/2 hours, making it 9:30 PM. Half the bus complained to AirBridge (the actual tour company) and they did refund us 1/3 of the price. They were very apologetic and understood our frustrations. A promise was made to me they would be dealing with the bus situation so others weren't inconvenienced. Booking on Viator went as smooth as silk. I'll use them again, actually I already did!
