Montreal City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

Tour / Activity

My Rating: 5 star rating: Highly Recommended

Location: Montreal, Canada

My Review:

The Gray Line picked us up at our hotel right on time (we called in advance and notified them of our location). The ride was smooth and covered a lot of territory. It was a 3 hour ride and we saw everything we needed to see. I have been on many Hop-on/off tours and have found it much easier to NOT hop off. We stay on throughout the entire tour and figure out what we would like to go back and see at a later time.

Montreal's hop-on/off tour is great!

Paris Pass

Tour / Activity

My Rating: 3 star rating: Worth doing

Location: Paris, France

My Review:

Previous reviewers are correct in saying that the Paris Pass is much more beneficial when you buy the 4-day or 6-day. There is a TON to see (and available) through the Pass and 2 days is simply not enough. The folks at Hard Rock Cafe were unfriendly and offered NO help in how to get started. Seemed rather annoyed sarcastic and just handed us our pass packages. Best decision we made (and we did the same prior in London) was to utliize the open top bus tour to see the city and to see what we wanted to actually spend time on during our visit. Only problem was we had trouble finding where the bus picked you up. We also found that even though we had the Museum Pass and Attraction Pass, we STILL had to wait in the long lines just to get the ticket to the museum/attraction. it would be nice if the Paris Pass partnered more with the places they advertise and then those places had signs and lines designated for those of us that purchased the pass and it's "benefits". Just a thought. The BEST thing about the pass was the unlimited 2-day metro pass. Easy, breezy, beautiful.

Private Viewing of Stonehenge including Bath and Lacock

Tour / Activity

My Rating: 5 star rating: Highly Recommended

Location: London, United Kingdom

My Review:

What an adventure! Truly loved this tour. Sev (our guide) was so enthusiastic and in love with her job that she made the excursion very special. The only issue we had was the listing of the meeting hotels: there were TWO Victoria's so we weren't sure we were even at the right place. An update in the details is needed. That being said, we had a huge coach to take us to our destinations. Sev never stopped talking! She was awesome. During a little bit of shut eye on the way out she exclaimed over the microphone "LOOK AT THE SHEEP!" which scared us all to death but was fine once you realized she is harmless. Once we got to Bath, the place was gorgeous. We stopped in the middle of town, went to the abbey and the roman baths but had little time so we didn't get to see much of the outskirts of the town (River Avon, Jane Austen's house/garden, etc). Then we went to Stonehenge. The park closes at 4:00 and we were there at 4:30 - only people there and definitely the only people inside the circle of stones. It was magical and quiet and, look, across the road - SHEEP! We did the sunset tour (sun was going to set at 5:45 and our tour ended around 5:30 but I told Sev I paid to see the sun set behind Stonehenge so i was gonna darn well see it - and I did. It was awesome. We then left to go to the little village of Lacock where we stopped in a pub for a very delicious dinner. Plan on a very long day! You will love this tour. Was definitely a highlight of our trip.

The Original London Sightseeing Tour: Hop-on Hop-off

Tour / Activity

My Rating: 5 star rating: Highly Recommended

Location: London, United Kingdom

My Review:

Perfect way to see the city. We never "hopped off"; instead, we stayed on the whole time to see everything then decide what we wanted to come back to and spend more time on. Definitely worth the ride - but make sure you listen on the headphones. Too much good history and this way you won't miss anything!
