Las Vegas Power Pass
Las Vegas, Nevada
My Rating

This is the second time that I have been to Vegas and bought the Las Vegas Power pass. We paid for a three day pass the first time we went and a two day pass this time. I would highly recommend it, you save so much money rather than paying individual ticket prices for entry into places. In the two days that we had the pass we got entry to the Stratosphere Tower, a ride on one of the Stratosphere rides, entrance to Madame Tussauds in the Venetian, The Rollercoaster at New York New York, the viewing deck at the Paris, entry to the Secret Garden and Dolphin and White Tiger habitat at the Mirage, and a free shuttle from the Fashion Show Mall to one of the Las Vegas Outlet centers, another trip I would highly recommend. Planet Hollywood on merchandise and food so we ended up with two Planet Hollywood T shirts which didn't cost us anything either. You also get 10 dollars spending money per day per pass to spend inThe pass has loads loads more to do as well, the only problem is trying to fit it all into the time that you have!!

Las Vegas Airport Roundtrip Transfer
Las Vegas, Nevada
My Rating

Not very impressed to be honest, only because we found once we arrived at Vegas that there was really no need to pre-book our shuttle transfers. There were several shuttles from different companies outside the airport, all of whom were prepared to take us to our hotel. We pre-booked this round trip and were told once we arrived at the airport to find the right place to meet the shuttle where a shuttle and a driver would be waiting to take us to our hotel, however no-one was waiting there when we arrived and we waited for over 20 minutes for a shuttle to appear. The driver however when he turned up was very very nice and couldn't do enough for us, just felt like we had wasted a lot of time waiting around when there were several companies to choose from that were sat waiting ready to take us.

Oahu North Shore Adventure Half-Day Tour
Oahu, Hawaii
My Rating

An excellent tour and very good value for money. Our tour guide George was brilliant and very knowledgeable. We saw two huge sea turtles on the beach and the volunteers that were there at the time were happy to give us information about the turtles and the ongoing work they do to protect the endangered species. We also saw the Byodo-In Temple which was beautiful and has been used as a backdrop for several tv programmes such as Hawaii 5-0 and Lost. We saw sunset beach and Turtle Bay and the Dole Pineapple Plantation which was very interesting. Well worth the money we paid and would definitely do again.

Paradise Cove Luau
Waikiki, Oahu
My Rating

We went to the Paradise Cove Luau on a Friday night when we stayed in Honolulu. We paid for the package that included flower leis, an arrival mai-tai cocktail and two premium drinks and two standard drinks. We had a bit of a shaky start to the tour as we missed the tour bus because we were misled as to where the bus was picking us up from, but the bus came back for us and we were on our way. It was definitely worth the money, there were traditional Hawaiian games and traditions such as the shower of flowers and the net fishing techniques and the buffet dinner which included shredded pork, fish in butter sauce and southern fried chicken. All the food was amazing and the choice of cocktails was fantastic. It really was a night to remember I would recommend it to anyone.

Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbor and Punchbowl Sightseeing Tour
Waikiki, Oahu
My Rating

I am not from America so didn't know a lot about American history and America's involvement in the second world war, but thought it was important to pay a visit to Pearl Harbor seeing as we were visiting Oahu. The tour was fantastic, and well worth the money. We went to Pearl Harbor in the morning and had time to explore before the visit to the Theatre which outlined the events before during and after Pearl Harbor. The short film was very moving and very tastefully done. We then got a shuttle boat over to the USS Arizona Memorial and had about half an hour to take photographs, read the information and pay our respects. It was a very beautiful and peaceful place. There was a lot more to see at Pearl Harbor than I had expected, you could easily fill two whole days there exploring the museums and memorials, battleship and submarine. After our Pearl Harbor tour we had an included tour of Honolulu. We saw parts of the Ko'olau Mountains, Iolani Palace - where the new series of Hawaii 5-0 headquarters is filmed, King Kamehameha Statue outside Ali'iolani Hale, Mission Houses Museum, The Eternal Flame Memorial built in memory of the victims of 9/11, The Honolulu State Capital Building and Punchbowl Cemetary. Overall you get to see an awful lot for the price you pay. Very impressed, the tour guide was amazing - knowledgeable and friendly.

Honolulu Airport Roundtrip Transfer with Optional Lei Greeting
Oahu, Hawaii
My Rating

Well worth the money, we were collected at the airport and greeted by a lovey lady called Irena. She welcomed us with a beautiful Lei and showed us where to get our bags from and escorted us to our shuttle bus. The driver was excellent, very friendly. On our return journey we were picked up on time and they rang us to confirm the day before. Perfect.

San Francisco Bay Sunset Cruise
San Francisco, California
My Rating

We enjoyed our San Francisco Bay Sunset Cruise and it was good value for money. You get to see a lot of sights as the sun sets, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island and San Francisco itself. The evening we went was a bit disappointing as it was really cold so it wasn't much fun out on deck, but we got some amazing photographs of the sights so it was worth it. The Golden Gate Bridge looked amazing when it was lit up at night, as did Alcatraz. The buffet that was supplied wasn't great, there were sandwiches and freshly baked cookies, but you had to get in there quick as as soon as the food was put out people queued up and filled their plates and after about half an hour there wasn't much left!!

Alcatraz and San Francisco City Tour
San Francisco, California
My Rating

The Alcatraz and San Francisco tour was definitely one of the highlights of our stay in San Francisco. We did Alcatraz in the morning, we had plenty of time to look around and visit the shop and do the full audio walking tour until we had to be back at the Pier. It was really interesting and a lot more to see there than I had expected. When we got back to the Pier we went on our San Francisco tour and visited the Golden Gate Bridge, Presidio Park, The Victorian Houses of Postcard Row. Fishermans Wharf, Pier 39 and the beautiful winding streets of San Francisco. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting San Francisco, especially those that are pushed for time and want to fit a lot in.
