It was a lovely day for a walk about Mayfair with a knowledgeable guide the day after the wedding. I should think your enjoyment would depend a lot on the weather, but so far as it's in the control of the guides, a nice insight into the free and easy royal lifestyle.

Fine trip for the semi-independent traveler, puts the right tickets in your hand, but that's about it. If you knew your way, you could do more for less. If you really need help, you'd want a guide. For me, it was just about right: rail tickets and hop on hop off. The train back was crowded, but it worked out fine for me. Loved Edinburgh and the scenic ride.

Nice trip and excellent guidance from Alun (the one with Welsh spelling, he said, not to be confused with another sounding the same) and Jason. Most travelers on my trip shopped in the free time, but I got a lot out of the documentation center and wished I had more time there.

Rothenburg is worth the trip, and Harburg fills out the day. Harburg has exhibits set up and guides to make it more memorable than it might otherwise be. Rothenburg is loaded with sites and shops. Be sure to have your camera handy for a picture in the stocks at the Museum of Criminality-you don't even have to see the whole museum for that.

A really remarkable and fascinating tour showing Liberace-esque excesses of Bavarian royalty. A must for fans of fairy tale castles, Wagner, royalty, or scenic beauty.

Budapest is enormously interesting, beyond what you may see in pictures, and the wry wit of my guide made it even moreso.

Spectacular views! Spectacular!
