While the drive was pleasant your photograph of the market was totally misleading. We expected to go to a fresh produce market and instead we were taken to a craft market for tourists. We didn't want lunch so we were left to look after ourselves for three hours in a town with very little to look at.
Our guide was poor and gave little information of value for the day and his time keeping was poor. In summary the day was a complete waste of time..leaving the hotel at 8.20am and not getting back until 7.10pm

We had a one to one tour guide but she was not very good and obviously bored. Before going to the main monument we went to a smaller 'middle of the earth' attraction which was good but when we went to the main monument very little was explained to us and we were given no opportunity to visit inside the monument.

We had a private tour and the guide was excellent. He was very knowledgable and communicated very well with us. He went at a good pace and we saw all of the main sites of the old town. Lunch was excellent at 'Pimms' and it all made for a very enjoyable day.
