Danube Bend Day Trip from Budapest

My Review: A taxi comes to your hotel to pick you up and then drops you off at the local designated by the tour company. When the taxi dropped me off, I was unsure that I was in the right spot. Over 30 minutes of waiting, another taxi came and picked me up and told me I was in the wrong location. Right off the bat, I was a little unhappy. But the tour was fun! The tour guide spoke English, French, German, and another one spoke Spanish. It was a little frustrating to hear him and understand him because he was always trying to translate and the group of people that he wasn't speaking their language were talking. The lunch was great and was in a wonderful location! I really enjoyed the last town, Szentendre. However, in the description of the tour, it says you receive a guided tour but that isn't the case. The guide gives you about an hour or so to discover the city by yourself. Even though I took the tour in March 2011, we took the boat along the Danube. Overall, I was pleased with the trip.

Budapest Sightseeing Tour with Parliament House Visit

My Review: Although the Parliament is a must see while visiting Budapest, I wish that I would have either selected a different tour company or just opted for the tour at the Parliament house. Although, the group was small, it was made up of German and English speakers. The guide did speak in both languages but it was frustrating because he mainly spoke in German although the Germans could speak in English.
