Steamboat Natchez Evening Jazz Cruise
Tour / Activity
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
My Review: I also had the opportunity to go on the Natchez lunch cruise on another day, and of the two, I preferred the lunch cruise. The dinner cruise was nice, and it was lovely with the lights, but the people were a bit more rowdy, and I thought the food was actually better on the lunch cruise. The buffet was good in both cases, but the lunch cruise food was really excellent. Also, I had the second seating for the dinner cruise, and things were a bit disorganized. I never was able to get into the salad line. Dinner was served late, and everyone dashed in at once, creating a very long line. The narration for the cruise was also longer and better on the lunch cruise, but there was more music on the dinner cruise, and it was really excellent. In either case, lunch or dinner, the Natchez provides a nice trip, and I would recommend it.

French Quarter Walking Tour
Tour / Activity
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
My Review: This was a good tour, but the guide was a little slow. I was expecting more history and unknown-to-the-general-public kinds of facts. The best part was the opportunity to tour the Ursuline Convent, which I would never have discovered on my own. The tour was definitely worth doing, but by the time I took the tour, I had found most of the places on my own.

New Orleans Super City
Tour / Activity
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
My Review: Very nice tour. I especially liked the cemetery stop. However, I found myself on the wrong side of the bus for a lot of things that were being shown, so I couldn't get very good pictures much of time, nor did I have a really good view myself. But it was an interesting tour with a very good guide.
