A lovely short tour with some very pretty stops. We greatly appreciated the hotel pick-up in Ambleside. We were slightly disappointed to miss out on our pre-paid cream tea due to the time constraints imposed by a lengthy wait for serveral "no-shows" who were meant to be waiting at the Windemere train station. This is such a beautiful area, I would recommend an all day tour if time permits, but if not, this "capsule" tour is a good choice.

Fantastic!!! A long, long tour (something like 12 and a half hours from start to finish) - and I wouldn't have passed up a minute of it. Siena and San Gimingano are astonishingly beautiful and Pisa, well Pisa is truly a wonder of the world. I never quite believed it until I saw it with my own eyes - and I'm so glad I did. The included lunch is delicious and accompanied by excellent local wine, the whole tour was very merry by the time we finished our meal! Our guide, Stefano, was briliant. Throughout the long day he remained helpful, incredibly cheerful and smiling, entertaining and informative, while vigilantly (though subtly!) keeping us all on the right track and on time. I would recommend this tour to anyone with a full day to spare while in Florence or nearby. It is fantastic value for money. Bravo!
