Best of Brooklyn Sightseeing, Food and Culture Tour

My Review: Didn't end up going on this tour because my taxi driver got lost and wasted 20 mins so I was late to the meeting spot!! The tour operator offered a spot on the tour for the next day as a gesture of goodwill, but I was returning home so couldn't do that. Will try doing the tour next time I'm in NYC.

My Review: Great tour. Saw the top sites for Gossip Girl and the tour guide Kate was knowledgeable and professional. I hope her dreams come true in NYC as she is lovely. She took some photos for me since I went alone. Recommend this tour to all GG fans!

Washington DC Day Trip from New York

My Review: This tour was ok. Would have rather skipped Madame Toussads and the Space Museum to spend more time at other DC landmarks, since I went all that way out from NYC for the day. Normally long day tours provide boxed breakfast and lunch, so time isn't wasted at lunch stops. Didn't appreciate the haggling for tips. The tour guide also spoke in French to 6 people which was annoying, and there was a German guide too. Would probably not do the tour if I had known before, and spent a couple of proper days there. Tour guide didn't seem interested in his job, so I didn't tip big.

New York City Full-Day Guided Coach Tour Including Lunch

My Review: This tour was ok. It was raining and foggy so a bad day for the tour but that's not the tour operator's fault. The tour guide (the Croatian man) is an eccentric person and at first I found him rude (he told me to step aside so a group of older ladies could hop on the bus first) and his accent was a bit annoying but I got used to it. He's got a very "I don't care" attitude but knows his stuff. Didn't like the large number of people on the tour, I would recommend finding a smaller group tour. Overall, just ok.

Yosemite National Park and Giant Sequoias Trip

My Review: Good overall taste of Yosemite, however two tips - 1) provide boxed breakfast and lunches (like I've had on my other long day tours of similar length and cost) so time isn't wasted at food stops - 1 hr 15 mins isn't enough time at the park once you get there; and 2) don't emphasize gratuity so much, it only annoys people and lowers the $ they would otherwise give - tourists aren't customary to it but they also aren't dumb.

San Francisco Vista Grande Helicopter Tour

My Review: This tour is only good if you're sitting in a seat on the left of the helicopter. The helicopter goes around in a circle where most attractions the pilot points out, including the important Golden Gate Bridge, are on the left. What was most disappointing was that there were only two people including myself on the tour session, but the bus driver who did the hotel pick ups came along for the ride and sat in the front passenger seat. He should have not come along, or sat in the seat I sat in, allowing myself and the other person to have seats on the left. This dampened my experience as I felt I missed out and especially couldn't see much when the helicopter was approaching the Golden Gate Bridge and went under it, and also Alcatraz on the left. I also missed photo opportunities. Not worth your hard-earned money unless you get a seat on the left. Very disappointed. Also, the ride lasted only 20 mins.

Alcatraz and San Francisco City Tour

My Review: Alcatraz was the only worthwhile thing about this tour. The city tour felt rushed and only a couple of stops for photo opportunities. Better to explore the city yourself. Too much information when passing by neighborhoods, I stopped paying attention. Driver's directions were confusing.. Would have preferred not to have to change shuttles and could have been organised better. Ok for an overview of the city I guess.

My Review: Highly recommend this tour, I had such a great time! Everything was organised so well, and Ralph is FANTASTIC! A true asset. Highly knowledgeable on many relevant topics and he is easy to listen to even though he speaks a LOT! Appreciated the boxed meals, which you don't get on many other lengthy day tours. Would have preferred the natural route, not Scotty's Castle, but other people on the bus wanted to see the castle. Enjoyed seeing all the sights and the photo ops. Excellent value for money. So glad I did the tour!

My Review: Definitely worth the money - didn't have to wait in long lines, especially at the studio tour where the line was long, I just breezed on through! Had the best time here, a must see for anyone visiting the city!
