The group that picks you up is prompt, clean and everyone speaks perfect English. The times are flexible and we could stay as long or short a period of time as we wanted. We were very pleased. You are picked up in a small van and brought to town to a central point and then a large bus takes you to the Lagoon.

This is certainly a must trip. We were picked up in a medium sized van which was very comfortable and pretty new. I was disappointed that we were then transferred to a very large comfortable bus that always seems to have one or two people who keep everyone waitingl. The trip itself and the guide were lovely.

We did this tour first thing on our first day. It was perfect. We had studied up before we went but we saw things we did not hear about and got a real sense of the city and country from our knowledgeable guide. Again we were picked up at our hotel promptly and brought to a larger bus.

Our guide Simon spoke wonderful English, was extremely informative and very helpful. He arrived early in a spotless minivan. Was a safe and excellent driver and knew his territory very well. He was also amazingly patient when the city center of Florence flooded and he had difficulty with the traffic. All in all it was a wonderful day. I would highly recommend it.

Our guide Freida was very knowledgeable, spoke English very well and was a very good guide. Our last stop was the Da Vinci painting. This became a big problem. She very explicitly told us to wait for her in the front of the museum. So we waited even though we knew it was going to rain and we should go to the bus. She then came out the back and left 12-15 of us waiting. We waited almost 30 minutes till we realized she left us all there and drove off with our umbrellas as well. It was her loss as well as ours.We are experienced travelers but I'm not sure how everyone else made out.
