we were picked up outside our b+b after getting the owner to phone for me as i was unable to explain where it was. The guide was a young man who spoke reasonable english without actually seaming to understand the english grammer the trip was pleasant enough the lunch provided was adequate the stroll through the country side was tiring and boring It was very hot and too far to walk in the heat of the afternoon the nature reserve is lacking in any nature as the mongoose's have wiped out all the snakes and then decimated the bird life .
The Benedictine Monks destroyed a pure fresh water lake by opening it to the sea when they built their Monastery all in all a very disappointing experience of a nature reserve

the guide was informative but as she was translating into 3 languages i missed some of what was being said also it would have nice for Viator to have informed us that at the time of my visit the bulb fields were empty of tulip flowers because they had already been beheaded . empty fields are not at all interesting the Keukonhof gardens were nice but it was really just a tulip bulb ordering garden centre
