Really interesting tour, it is definitely worth your time other than visiting the Vatican and Imperial Rome. Our tour guide Peter was great, meeting point at Barbernini Fountain was easy. Getting in and out of the city on a tour bus was actually a welcome change from walking around Rome all day every day. The christian catacomb and Crypts were facinating but a bit creepy, so if you have little kids, you might want to beware. The Church of San Clemente was fantastic with four separate levels representing 4 completely different time period all accessable to visitors. Definitely go on this tour if you can spare the time.
Amazing! Fantastic! Awesome! The art displayed in this tour was out of this world. It is a must for anyone going to Rome. Definitely book a tour to skip the line!!! We were there first thing in the morning on a cold winter Thursday and the lines were already out of control at the front of the Vatican museum. Our tour guide Simon was FANTASTIC!!! I usually don't pay that much attention to the tour guide and really booked the tour for skipping the long lines, but Simon got me all excited about the history of the Vatican and the incredible art within (mostly on the walls and ceilings). He was fantastic! Simon offered to share both the religious and historical accounts and was very respectful for our group's opinion on whether you wanted to hear some of the 'stories'. I am still fascinated and am reading more about the art in Vatican City!
