Bruges Day Trip from Amsterdam

My Rating
The day trip from Amsterdam was a long day. The time in Ghent and Bruges was short and the "tour" perfunctory in the cities. IIf you have a day to kill and would like a small taste of Belgium, this trip is fine, but it really is pretty similar to Amsterdam and there isn't enough time to really see these cities.

Alkmaar Cheese Market and Dutch Windmills Half-Day Trip from Amsterdam

This was a great trip. It was nice to see some of the countryside and learn about the windmills, ponders, and such. The cheese market was fun and the town of Alkmar interesting. Lots of shops and booths set up for the market. Souvenirs were much cheaper here than in Amsterdam. This was definitely worth the price.
