A drink en route would have improved this experience.  Knowledgeable, friendly guide ensured a fascinating tour - fans of SJ Parris's Giordano Bruno's novels might like to know that the tour visits Bruno's statue.

Lovely day.  Fair amount of walking at Hadrian's Villa; daunting in the heat of August.  However, well worth the effort - having visited the Hadrian Exhibition at British Museum had some idea of the scale but reality  overwhelming.  Excellent lunch in Tivoli before Villa d'Este - beautiful.  Well informed guide added to the experience.

Five stars; however, the whole day was something of a challenge in August.  Had we registered more clearly that the tour moved on from the Vatican Palace in the afternoon we might have split the experience over two days.  Morning was, inevitably, rushed but the range of  art - classical  and  more modern,  in the palace was astonishing and that was before the Sistine Chapel!  Knowledgeable and friendly guides (morning  and  afternoon) added to the wealth of the expeience.

This would have been a wonderful day out and once we arrived at the vineyard it certainly was. However, stress levels were high as we travelled from Barcelona, no real confidence that we were going to the right place and very little guidance from the voucher. Found the entrance to the vineyard purely by chance. Once there, the staff were delightful and the tours extremely interesting. Not entirely sure we would have described the lunch as gourmet but again the staff were charming and the wine delicious. Please try to improve the information on the voucher as a two hour train ride is a long time to be concerned about crucial detail.

Very helpful at airport. No computer record of booking but accepted our voucher just as well, as flight delayed for 20 hours and we were exhausted by then! Tram travel a godsend and canal trip excellent "freebie". Only managed one art gallery due to delay but can thoroughly recommend the Bols Cocktail Museum interactive tour which we somehow found time for!!
