Consider its low price, this tour was excellent. It delivered on exactly what was promised.
We had very little time in Belgium and wanted to see Ghent and Bruges in our single free day. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very sweet.
Trying to squeeze both of these great spots in one day means you miss the opportunity to spend any decent amount of time in either but we knew that going in. I was sorry we couldn't stay longer in Ghent to experience it when the shops were open but such is to be expected on a compressed tour.
The tour was a nice way to spend an evening to get a locals guide to some of the best food in the city (as well as points of view on politics and life of the country).
We made three stops to different restaurants - one to sample some good appetizers, the next to sample mussels and a beef stew and the last for coffee. Food was very tasty and plentiful. Drinks were included which was very nice although we are not big drinkers so we didn't take full advantage.
The only thing I felt was a bit lacking (and this is a very small thing) was that there was no dessert course. It wasn't a matter of lack of food - just that I would expect a city with such a great selection of sweets to have some of that represented on a food tour. No matter, we sampled plenty of it on our own during other parts of the trip.
