This tour was very comfortable with bus trip and walking combined. I think it was a little bit too long with not enough time to explore each attraction. Gave us an intro to each one though. The last supper is amazing and is so worth doing. Good value for money. Our guide was very polite and friendly and could be understood most of the time.
The Vatican is a must see so is worth paying for skip the line tickets. The slow line was miles long. It took us around 40 minutes to get inside and after that you have the whole day to explore. The day we went was very busy (I imagine it is like this all the time) so if you don't mind shuffling and lining up than do it. I would like to suggest that as well as skip the line for tickets, they could offer skip the line for the audio guide as well. Once inside, the line up for the audio guide was ridiculous. Also, do not be tempted to have breakfast at the corner cafe at the top of the stairs where we met our guide. Total rip off (60 euros) for a very ordinary so called american breakfast. Yuk.
This tour is worth its weight in gold. Our tour guide for the walk was fabulous - full of knowledge about the history and with a bit of humour thrown in along the way. His english was great. The walk was just the right amount of time but the piece de resistance was the pasta making lesson at the end followed by lunch at a brilliant restaurant called Its Amour. We ended up eating there again the food is so amazing. Not expensive either.
This tour is a MUST DO.
