USS Missouri, Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbor and Punchbowl Day Tour

My Review: More time was needed at Pearl Harbour area as there is much to see including the memorials to the lost submarines and other museums at the Harbour Visitor centre, You can take bags etc but will have to pay $3 to place them in a locker before entering the area but that was not a problem. Time does not allow you to see the USS Bowfin or museum. 30 minute guided tour of Battleship "Missouri" is included and is excellent. Need to take ID to get into the area where the 'Missouri' is docked.

My Review: Very busy and educational day. On bus journey to the village (1 hour 30 minutes from Honolulu), the guide tells us that you can upgrade for a buffet lunch and guided tour for an extra $25. We did not take up this option and still saw all the different villages. The evening buffet meal or Luau was very good with entertainment throughout the meal. The night show "the Breath of Life" was very dramatic with great stage effects. Well worthwhile doing this tour.

Big Island Day Trip: Volcanoes National Park from Oahu

My Review: Tour did not commence until 6.30am and arrived back at hotel around 8.30pm. There is no time for dinner if you travel with Hawaiian Air" "Go" airlines leave an hour later from Hilo. If you have never seen larva tubes or active volcanic craters, then this is a must see tour. The Rainbow waterfall was a disappointment as there is hardly any water going over.

Oahu Grand Circle Island Day Tour with Dole Plantation

My Review: This tour travels along the southern, eastern and northern shores. Need to get on right-hand side of bus to get best sea views. Gives you an idea of the geography and beauty spots of the island. Dole plantation was very disappointing and not worth stopping unless you are into buying souvenirs. Did not get there until 3.30pm, hardly any staff to serve food or coffee and all the other coaches are also there.
