Skip the Line: Vatican Museums Walking Tour including Sistine Chapel, Raphael's Rooms and St Peter's
Rome, Italy
My Rating

This was not on our original agenda for a Rome visit, we know it would be crowded and it was. Anna our guide did the most ourstanding job of telling the story of the painting, and meaning of the painting in the Sistine Chapel. Inside St. Peter's is a must see if you are visiting rome. Great tour.

Our guide Graham made this extra special for us. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. We went for the Colosseum, but found the Forum equally fascinating.

Skip the Line: Venice Walking Tour with Doges Palace
Venice, Italy
My Rating

We did not know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised by the Doges Palace. The instructoins were not clear so we missed the morning walk. The instructions appeared to give us an option of a morning tour and afternoon tour, when in fact the moring is the walk and the afternoon is the palace.

Private Tour: Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Tour
Venice, Italy
My Rating

If you appreciate the high touch treatment its worth doing. We really like the private boat ride and the opportunity to travel throug Venice and get a historical overview of the city. Murano was short, we visited a glass blower, they tried to sell us merchandise. Burano was a nice fishing village, it would have been great is we could have had lunch there. Torcello was an ancient ruin, it was OK. Our guide Barbara was very knowledgable. Our driver was impressive.
So if your interested in build Murano glass, you won't have time and frankly you can buy most of this elsewhere cheaper than at the source. I'd do a trip to Burano and have lunch if I were to do it again.

How can you go to Italy and not see David. The guides were highly knowledgable. The tours focused on the most relevant exhibits. Note you can stay all day at the Accademia but you can't buy food or water, take water with you, you will need it.
