Washington DC Departure Transfer: to Dulles Airport

Washington D.C., District of Columbia

My Rating
1 star rating: I do not recommend this

My Review

It takes at least hours to get to the airport if you are using this service. Allow one hour for circling in the city to pickup the passengers from various locations (who are never ready at the correct time), and one hour for the trip to the airport once you are outside the city. I'd rather take a taxi than use this service again. You get tired before your actual trip !!!

Washington DC Arrival Transfer: from Dulles Airport

Washington D.C., District of Columbia

My Review

Be ready to waste one hour first at the airport waiting for your shared shuttle-ride to arrive at the shuttle-stop (after 13 hour international flight), then another half-an-hour while shuttle-drivers negotiate among themselves which passenger will go with which driver (and time is wasted in transferring your luggage from one shuttle to another), add one hour for the actual trip from the airport to the city, another half hour to get to your hotel once you are in the city. All this adds upto 2-3 hours extra after your flight. Avoid this service if you want to get to your hotel as fast as you can after your intercontinental flight. I'd rather take a taxi than use this service again.

Hong Kong Island Half-Day Tour

Hong Kong, Hong Kong

My Rating
2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better

My Review

A useless trip...instead of showing you the things to see in Hong Kong, first 2-3 hours are spent on a "sampan" (boat)-ride around shanty-boat-town for which you have to pay extra money direct to the operator, and then touring of a jewelry factory during which you are incited to buy jewelry at above-market prices. The only thing worth taking this trip is the ride to Victoria Peak and then the return tram-ride. Everything else is just a waste of time and money.
