This tour was worth doing, but it was a bit underwhelming. The guide had interesting background on the site and spoke English fairly well, but the Cu Chi Tunnel site itself could have been better. What the Viet Cong did there in the early to mid 60's was very impressive. Somehow the exhibits and the film that is shown just don't do it justice. So, the tour was fairly well done, but the venue could be improved.

I was disappointed with this tour. We hit the main sights, but the guide was pretty low energy and didn't provide much background for us. The place we stopped for lunch was indeed a local spot, but there are better local spots. Hanoi is an interesting city, I'm glad that I continued to explore on my own.
